Loan calculators that show what banks don't

EMIs for every kind of loan in India, plus what most calculators skip: how much a prepayment really saves, what a repo-rate change does to your EMI, the true cost of fees, and when you'll be debt-free.

Pick your loan

RBI repo rate: 5.50%

The RBI raised it by 0.25% from 5.25% on 7 October 2026. If your home, education or other floating loan is repo-linked (EBLR), your rate changes by the same amount at your next reset, usually within three months.

Questions

Is LoanSense free?

Yes. Every calculator and the My Loans tracker are free, with no sign-up.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your device, in your browser. Calculator inputs are kept for 30 days after your last change. Loans you add to My Loans stay until you delete them, and you can export a backup file. Nothing is sent to a server.

How accurate are the calculations?

LoanSense uses the standard reducing-balance EMI formula Indian lenders use, with interest calculated monthly on the outstanding balance. The engine is checked against published EMI values and an independent reference calculation. Your lender's figures can differ by small amounts because of rounding, day-count conventions and broken-period interest in the first month.

Can I use it offline or install it?

Yes. After your first visit LoanSense works offline, and you can add it to your phone's home screen like an app.
